John G. Vondrak, D.D.S.

Dr. John Vondrak is the founder of ORTHODONTIX LTD. For over 25 years, he has practiced as an orthodontic specialist in the Texas/New Mexico region. The warmth of both the climate and the people of New Mexico and Texas have drawn him to this area that he now calls home.

Dr. Vondrak received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska. After service in the U.S. Air Force as a dental officer and a one-year residency in oral surgery at Louisiana State University Medical Center, he earned his orthodontic degree from Howard University School of Dentistry in Washington D.C.

Dr. Vondrak has always believed that quality orthodontic treatment should be made available to children and adults regardless of their social class or financial status. He has remained committed to providing a high standard of patient care at affordable prices.

In order to achieve these goals, he has sought fellow orthodontic specialists who have similar treatment philosophies to join him at ORTHODONTIX LTD. He is very pleased with the exceptional skill and dedication of his professional associates.

He frequently participates in continuing education courses to refine and enhance the orthodontic process that he has developed. Dr. Vondrak's experience, coupled with knowledge of the most current advances in orthodontics, allows him and his colleagues to provide the finest patient care.

Dr. Vondrak is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is past president of the New Mexico Orthodontic Society. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and local dental societies in both New Mexico and Texas.

He and his wife, Barbara, have two daughters and a son, all of whom live in Texas. Their daughters, Cameron and Clarian, hope to follow Dr. Vondrak in the dental profession. Their son, Greg, is a college student and serious golfer. The Vondraks are the proud grandparents of seven.
